Kommunikationswissenschaft wird es dann interessant, wenn ein Journalist oder
eine Journalistin eine zentrale Rolle in einem movie einnimmt und durch sein/ ihr
journalistisches Handeln die Geschichte des movies direkt oder indirekt beeinflusst. Die vorliegende Arbeit beschäftigt sich mit dem Bild der Journalisten im Spielfilm
der 90er Jahre. Im theoretischen Teil wird die Grundlage für die Untersuchung
gelegt indem zuerst das Berufsbild „Journalist“, sowie häufig verwendete Begriffe
wie „Image“ und „Stereotyp“ kurz umrissen werden. Danach wird der Untersuchungsgegenstand
„Film“ eingegrenzt. Daran schließt sich ein kurzer Überblick
über die Geschichte des Journalisten im Spielfilm, sowie die nicht zu vernachlässigende
Genrediskussion an. Danach werden mehrere mögliche theoretische
Herangehensweisen an das Medium movie dargestellt. Im empirischen Teil werden
zuerst die Forschungsfragen formuliert, danach das Forschungsdesign erläutert.
Nach den Filmanalysen folgt eine Darstellung der Ergebnisse, sowie deren kritische
Diskussion.
Die Arbeit hat ihren kommunikationswissenschaftlichen Problembezug, denn sie
versteht sich als Beitrag zur Journalismusforschung, sowie als eine Fortführung
bisheriger Untersuchungen.
